The Wheels of Life are Spirals of Colored Light

The chakras, which are a Sanskit word meaning "wheels" are energy centers located at points in the body that correspond to major nerve centers or with a particular gland in the endocrine system as well as with certain organs and systems within the body. Each is a different color and each vibrates at a different frequency. The chakras allow us to receive, transmit process life energy. The seven major chakras (shown in the picture to the right) are energy centers that rotate or spin, and are focused locations of life force energy (chi, ki, or prana).

When a chakra becomes unbalanced due to blocks in the emotional, mental, or spiritual levels of the energy field, then a dis-ease may manifest within the the area governed by that blocked energy center.
